I am Free

The uncertainty was even greater than usual. The world was changing at an even faster pace. People were handing over the keys to their lives. Introspection, isolation, restrictions, and the shifting relationship between the individual and society, along with anger, fear, and the blurring of basic definitions, made me feel I had to take action. I had to escape.

In this picture, in a tiny boat on the water, with a storm approaching, there was a man doing his own thing, in a world of his own. Calm, present, focused, out of reach, at least for the time being, and free.
