One of the deepest problems of human society today is a lack of trust. People may cooperate on the surface, but beneath that, very few can truly trust strangers — even in an age of advanced technology and constant connectivity.

Why? The reason is not technology, or systems, or even history. The reason lies in the very nature of human beings.

The additive path is boundless. Humans can go to Mars, to the Milky Way, and there will always be further, never-ending addition has never brought true liberation and freedom to humanity.

When one day you come to the realization that you possess nothing, you will find true freedom.For all that we own are but chains that bind us.The more chains we accumulate, the more trapped we become.

We are accustomed to wanting more, to possessing more. When will we learn to want less, to not possess? When we learn to reduce our burdens, the less we possess, the more freedom we will have.
