Two Paths to Final Zero

There are two kinds of practice on the path to Zero.

One moves within the system —
It seeks to increase fortune (not only wealth, but all forms of goodness):
better health, better karma, a calmer mind,
more compassion, more love, greater benefit to others.
It softens suffering and refines the self.
This is the path of becoming.

The other moves out of the system —
It strips away all roles, all seeking, even the idea of “you.”
It does not aim to improve the self, but to dissolve it.
It purifies the mind completely.
This is the path of vanishing.

The first is necessary — but only temporary.
While we still carry this body, we must live wisely, kindly, and in balance.
But the second is final.
Even as we move through life, we must learn to turn inward —
to walk gently toward the final step.

Complete Zero is not improvement. It is completion.
The end of becoming. The end of upgrading.
Not improvement — but completion.
